Missionary Support
Our very own Baylee Mitchell heard God’s call at the age of 8 and now, at 19 years old, she is serving full-time in Thailand.
“I am 19 years old. I feel called to Mae Sai, which is the most northern part of Thailand that borders Burma, modern-day Myanmar. I am partnering with a ministry called Victory International and will be teaching English at their new English center and helping to pioneer the children’s program for their church. I will also be helping in their vision as they pioneer a church for the Burmese. I will be there for the next 5 years possibly more. My goal is to raise $1000 monthly but any one-time donations are welcomed. My other major needs would be a prayer for wisdom as I prepare and for perseverance as I learn to speak Thai fluently.”

Update from Baylee: June 2026
สวัสดีค่ะ, greetings from America!
It is that time of the month again! I can’t express my gratitude and appreciation enough, thank you for every prayer, every encouraging message, and every bit of support you continually give each month. I never want to take your partnership for granted. It is because of faithful friendraisers like you that I am able to continue serving and doing God’s work in Thailand, and I am so grateful to have you alongside me on this journey.
I can’t believe how fast time flies! This visit to America has been filled with lots of fun and exciting chaos. I got to visit my family in Arizona for a week, and I am only halfway through my trip, yet there are still so many exciting things ahead. My family and I even got to go on an Alaskan cruise.
My family and I have all been through major transitions. Rian is preparing for heart surgery and getting ready for college, and my mom got the principal position at her school! I am still preparing for YWAM, and Broden is an entrepreneur and businessman. I still don’t fully understand exactly what he does. All I know is that he has several marketing jobs running ads for his clients.
I am still awaiting a response regarding the status of my visa, but they have assured me that everything looks good and that it is still being processed. I am praying for God’s provision and trusting His timing.
Not much has changed on the ministry side of things due to the fact that I am visiting America, but like I said last month, God continues to open doors and provide opportunities to serve. I can’t express enough how much I am looking forward to becoming more involved with the YWAM Chiang Mai community and building relationships with those the Lord has placed around me. I am both excited and nervous about Chiang Mai. I am so thankful for the opportunity to find community, grow alongside other believers, and form friendships that I pray will last a lifetime.
School will most likely be put on hold for the fall semester as I navigate what life is going to look like in Chiang Mai, but I am still trusting God’s timing. I am in the process of talking to a college counselor to discuss next steps.
As always, thank you for continuing to encourage, partner, and pray with me.Your support means more than you know, and I am incredibly thankful for each of you. God bless each and every one of you!
